Tyre Safety on International Haiku Poetry Day

This Saturday 17th of April marks International Haiku Poetry Day! A haiku is a short poem that uses 17 syllables and follows the pattern of 5-7-5. You could be wondering what on earth this has to do with CAM and tyres? Good question!

Supporting the excellent work of TyreSafe , BTMAUK, NTDA & ITIA in promoting the importance of tyre safety will always be on our agenda. And on International Haiku Poetry Day, what better way is there to remind everyone about the importance of tyre safety?

We hope our little 5-7-5 poems will raise a smile, as well as being the perfect way to educate and remind drivers: Healthy tyres = Healthy life!!

Is your tyre safe? Get your tyre pressure right Have good tyre life

Are your tyres, right? Tyres over inflated Less contact with road

For good tyre life Remove objects from the tread More time on the road

Tyre tread still safe Test with a 20p coin Avoid a big fine

Bus tyres 10 years old?  #Tyred tyres are illegal Old tyres kill lives

Tyres used before? Part--worns cause untold damage Newer is safer

Tread depth saves lives Ensure excellent road grip When the roads are wet
