TyreWORK first across line with e-jobsheet and UniSerV integration

TyreWORK is the first commercial vehicle and tyre management service provider to go ‘live’ with the new UniSerV platform which has been extended with e-jobsheet, improving its operational agility, and increasing its administrative efficiency in data processing from the field.

By connecting all of its technicians via e-jobsheet across its four depots in the South East, TyreWORK will receive completed work back via their tablets and process the job data systematically into UniSerV for speed and accuracy.  This same data will be available to third party contract holders for whom TyreWORK is completing the work.

Additional functions in tyre inspections and tyre transport are also now supported within UniSerV with e-jobsheet.

As a result of being plugged into both platforms, TyreWORK will be able to deliver class leading service for their own fleets and connected third parties through the platform.

Dan Cooper, operations manager at TyreWORK, says, “We’ve been a CAM UniSerV user for two years so the next logical step in our process development was to integrate with e-jobsheet to achieve greater efficiencies, particularly with third party contract holders, and continue speeding up data processing by essentially connecting our technicians to our customers.”

Steve Daly, director of CAM International, adds, “TyreWORK is the first of many commercial vehicle and tyre management customers that have recognised the value and expediency of

e-jobsheet in setting a new standard for their service provision.  We will be welcoming more service providers on board in the coming months.”

RTB Tyres returns to CAM for Cloud-based solution

RTB Tyres is expanding this month with the opening of a new depot with extended warehousing, supported by its first Cloud-based solution provided by CAM, which will enable the wholesaler to make savings and introduce operational efficiencies to its business.

RTB Tyres recently returned to CAM to invest in its tyre industry-specific software solutions including Cameo, Online Tyre Catalogue (OTC), Ledgers and CAM Business Intelligence (BI).  The Cloud-based system will deliver a safe and secure platform for CAM’s products enabling RTB Tyres to improve product data management in conjunction with Cameo’s stock management facilities as well as enhance sales processes by being informed and having effective visibility across the entire business.

Arthur Webber, director of RTB Tyres, says, “CAM’s tailored and effective response to our new company direction sets it apart in the industry.  We’re confident its total solutions will enable us to expand our business smoothly and seamlessly with accuracy and minimum disruption to our operation.”

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, adds, “We’re delighted to be collaborating with RTB Tyres again.  More and more tyre dealers are recognising the benefits of Cloud-based systems, and CAM is able to respond with solutions that address both a Cloud and traditional infrastructure to maximise savings and efficiencies for businesses.”

CAM awarded Investors in People

CAM has been accredited with Investors in People (IIP) following its recent inspection, which awarded the standard based on the company’s strong ethos towards excellent customer service and support, high levels of staff retention, and its leadership position and high penetration in its target sector.

The assessor was impressed with the company’s focus on the customer, led by the managing director, citing the respect and flexibility shown by the talented team towards its ends users as well as among its staff.

Leading the IIP process, CAM general manager, Ryan Naughton, says, “The ethos of the company is founded on openness and trust.  From the point the company was formed over 30 years ago the customer was placed at the heart of the organisation. Through Mike Allen’s leadership all aspects of the business have continued to develop, however the commitment to the customer has always remained the key focus.  The support shown by the team throughout our journey towards Investors in People reflects the camaraderie, dedication and passion of the company to ensure we remain at the forefront of the tyre industry.”
