CAM’s UniSerV drives operational efficiencies into Nicks Tyres

Nicks Tyres has gone ‘live' with CAM’s UniSerV platform as part of the business’ continued investment in the operational processes across its depots. The new software will help increase productivity and efficiency as well as assist in the continued provision of a reliable service to its customers.

The addition of UniSerV into the business will provide employees with a comprehensive view of real-time information on everything from stock visibility to mobile work, which leads to a streamlining of job processing, reduction in the time spent on recovery admin as well as the paper work associated with each job.

Nick Hart, managing director of Nicks Tyres, says, “We are always looking into systems and services that will provide us with an edge over the competition and UniSerV does just that. The fact that it offers real-time updates means our business can easily establish what people and product are available to most effectively serve our customers.”

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, adds, “We work with companies of all sizes who are committed to growing and developing their businesses through technology to help them meet their goals. The UniSerV platform has been designed with that in mind and we look forward to seeing how we can continue to support Nicks Tyres' business plan in the short, medium and long term.”

SE Tyres signs up to CAM’s UniSerV

SE Tyres is investing further to support its impressive business progression by introducing CAM’s UniSerV platform, with the aim of continuing to drive forward operational efficiencies and business enhancements for its fleet and commercial service operations.

The incorporation of UniSerV will ensure user work flow, mobile fitter work, stock visibility and integration to third parties continue to maximise its business efficiency and sales growth.

Retail general manager at SE Tyres, Steve Haffenden, says, “We’re impressed with how UniSerV succeeds in capturing job information in real time and allows SE Tyres to react professionally and promptly to inbound customer demand. We also really like that it delivers us cost and accuracy wins because it reduces paperwork, provides visibility of all work in process and streamlines job sheet processing so that invoicing and payment is speeded up, significantly improving cash flow.”

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, comments, “At CAM, we are deeply committed to ensuring business development and growth opportunities can be realised by our customers through the agency of better and more integrated UniSerV software for the delivery of world-class fleet tyre service.”

eBay solution from CAM streamlines tyre retailers

Sales opportunities through eBay are realising business growth for tyre retailers.  As a result, CAM is introducing a scalable cloud-based solution that will enable dealers to streamline the associated administration, eradicate errors and save time and labour for their eBay order processing.

CAM’s solution integrates Cameo and its Online Tyre Catalogue (OTC) alongside a tailored eBay shop interface, which further strengthens the features list in the forthcoming major Cameo release.  CAM achieved the eBay integration within eight weeks of receiving its first signed order and shapes up to play a pivotal sales management role for participating dealer customers.

Post-order from the consumer, the system operator is presented with a list of all completed eBay transactions awaiting despatch.  The user is able to review and confirm the details of each sale before being guided through a seamless sales process of courier and delivery service level selection, and then onto generating the finished invoice. There is virtually no manual data entry during the process, since all product and customer data is pulled from the eBay website, passed directly to into selected courier’s systems, and then into the finished customer invoice.  Accuracy is improved and invoice processing time has been dramatically reduced.

The eBay integration also includes a ‘pick list’ feature which allows the operator to generate a picking list of all items that have been sold awaiting despatch.  This allows warehouse staff to retrieve stock from the facility far more efficiently.

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, says, “Processing high volumes of transactions generated by eBay can be laborious and time consuming, and mistakes can be made due to the high level of human intervention during transactions with considerable keying in of data, often from handwritten notes.

“Cameo’s Derived Pricing capability delivers reliable accurate pricing directly to the sales desk, enabling retailers to quote confidently and professionally. CAM customers using the extension will no longer have to wade through 1000s of hard-copy invoices and manually update spreadsheets every week.”
