Kingsway signs up to a connected future with UniSerV

Kingsway Tyres, which recently became part of the Lodge Tyre Group, is committing significant investment in CAM technologies in addition to its already sizeable participation in the e-jobsheet tablet platform in order to take advantage of an integrated systems approach which maximises customer interaction, increases business efficiency and accuracy, whilst also housing a highly dynamic data repository for information dissemination.

The investment incorporates CAM’s UniSerV platform, Online Tyre Catalogue (OTC) and CAMEO systems.  The technologies will enable Kingsway to streamline its business functions while leveraging the power of product and transactional data to deliver efficiencies and present incremental business opportunities.

Martin O’Brien, managing director of Kingsway Tyres, says, "Data connectivity is key.  We decided to go with the commercial service provider’s system of choice, UniSerV, and other CAM technologies, as they are widely known in the industry to provide scalable, versatile and connected solutions that help tyre businesses adapt to changing environments.  Our main business objective is to ensure that we increase efficiencies and profitability, and gain greater control over the customer-facing aspects of our operations."

Barry Shaddick upscales with UniSerV

South-West based commercial service provider Barry Shaddick is graduating its position from stand-alone e-jobsheet user with a fully integrated solution based on the UniSerV platform from CAM.

The investment marks the next step in the tyre dealer’s systems development, which will provide greater professionalism and connectivity to support its tyre service work across its commercial depots.

The company will enjoy time savings and efficiencies when tyre service jobs are launched in near real time to its mobile fitters using e-jobsheet, the open-access, cloud-based job management platform as well as full transparency of the job data for stock and billing purposes.

Barry Shaddick, managing director of Barry Shaddick, says, “As a stand-alone e-jobsheet user for the past 18 months we have seen the significant presentation and accuracy benefits this open-architecture, digital tablet-based work exchange for truck, bus and van can deliver.  It was only natural that we would move to a more integrated and connected approach with CAM, driven by its proven UniSerV platform.”
