e-jobsheet helps 4,000 UK fleet vehicles a day

Some 4,000 fleet vehicles are being assisted back on the road every weekday in the UK by being seamlessly connected to a network of commercial tyre service providers via CAM International’s simple e-jobsheet tablet app for truck, bus, van and car.

When breakdown, inspection and scheduled, and ad hoc servicing work is conducted by technicians on fleet vehicles, e-jobsheet enables job data to be passed automatically from the tablet via TiDaeX within seconds of a job being completed, including a copy of the job card, signatures and any photos provided. The operation delivers digital evidence of the high-quality service and commercial transaction undertaken to customers.

60 per cent of the dealers integrate e-jobsheet into their systems, receiving the digital job data for population into their contract, stock, billing and other management software modules, saving them rekeying in time and administrative costs, and projecting a strong professional image to customers. The remaining 40 per cent of subscribers operate a ‘standalone’ system, benefiting from receiving the signed jobsheet via email, enabling them to adjust stock and create invoices manually.

Steve Daly of CAM International says, “Whether tyre servicing operators have an integrated solution or subscribe to the ‘standalone’ version of e-jobsheet, the digital journey of that commercial transaction is shared quickly and simply with the fleets, promoting a very positive image and making it easy to do business with the fleet tyre service provider.”

Tomato Tyres Utilises e-jobsheet

Slough-based Tomato Tyres is integrating CAM International’s e-jobsheet tablet app for truck, bus, van and car tyre servicing. When work is conducted by Tomato Tyres’ technicians on fleet vehicles, e-jobsheet will enable job data to be passed automatically via TiDaeX as it is completed on the tablet, including a copy of the job card, signatures and any photos provided.

Anthony Smith, manager at Tomato Tyres, said:

“This framework enables all commercial transactions to be shared within seconds of job completion from a fitter’s tablet.

We standardise on e-jobsheet because it is so easy for our technicians to use.

It also allows us to provide digital evidence of our excellent service to any of our customers.”

Steve Daly of CAM International commented: “The successful and proven application of e-jobsheet means an independent commercial tyre service dealer like Tomato Tyres subscribing to the ‘standalone’ version of e-jobsheet, can easily and rapidly start to do business with all fleets, improving their professional projection while saving time and costs.”
