As promised, CAM’s #MatchMe donation has landed, doubling the donations received and doubling the impact Alzheimer's Research UK can make for people living with Alzheimers. In total, our CAM Commandos have raised £1142! Thanks to everyone that supported our muddy heroes!
A crack team of CAM’s elite commandos are donning their green berets and finding their absolute limit, as they take on the 2022 Tough Mudder 5km challenge in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK.
For one day only, 10 of CAM’s finest (keyboard) warriors will transform into amphibious commandos, digging deep and aiming high as they do battle with their ultimate enemy, MUD!
The treacherous terrain features 13 enemy areas, notably the infamous ‘Mudderhorn’, the exhausting ‘Mud Mile’ not forgetting the ominously named ‘Electroshock Therapy’! Will our specially trained commandos make it through Tough Mudder’s hostile environment and back to the safety of their office chair?
The CAM commandos’ focus ultimately stretches beyond the mud, as they’re collectively racing to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. Nominated by Commando Frankie Sharp and in memory of her late grandma, the charity has been adopted by all of our commandoes and by CAM. Thanks to CAM’s ‘Match Me’ promise, all donations received via the commandos’ Just Giving page will be matched by CAM, doubling the efforts of the commandos and the life-changing work of Alzheimer's Research UK.

Meet the CAM Commandos
Commando Chris Allen
Proving that you should never mess with the quiet ones, Commando Chris Allen has been practising his commando-style “surprise attacks”. As CAM’s Head of People, we’re hoping that no one reports him to HR.
Commando Myles May
Specially trained in yoga (!) Commando Myles May is squeezing in some last-minute training for Tough Mudder 2022. His fellow comrades are yet to be convinced how mastering the plank and the downward dog will help in enemy areas.
Commando Miles Jarvis
As a reserve firefighter, Commando Miles Jarvis is accustomed to a line-up more than the other unruly commandos. Despite his youth, we’ll be relying on Jarvis to keep our troops in check.
Commando Christine Flynn
With 3 years’ experience as a software tester, Commando Christine Flynn plans to get ahead of the pack and ensure the quality of the treacherous terrain. Only when Flynn has declared the course “ready for release” will the other CAM commandos follow.
Commando Steve Hollingsbee
Living proof that “Who Dares Wins” Commando Steve Hollingsbee will be digging deep and aiming high, as he takes on the hostile environment of Tough Mudder and its 10 muddy obstacles.
Commando Alex Gilchrist
As a veteran of the Tough Mudder challenge, Commando Alex Gilchrist has already proven his worth as an elite amphibious soldier. But will the new Tough Mudder 2022 obstacles prove too much for this ambitious commando?
Commando Glenn Lander
Donning the coveted CAM green beret, Commando Lander transforms from a mild-mannered support engineer to an elite mud fighting machine. Mudderhorn, Mud Mile and the Kiss of Mud will not deter this specially trained soldier; he’s determinedly focused on reaching the finish line.
Commando Frankie Sharp
Veteran of the mud, Commando Sharp has the courage and determination that defines our CAM Commandos. Head of Product Management, Sharp is used to navigating arduous and hostile environments. Keep the faith! We have confidence that this resilient commando will push herself to her absolute limit and complete the 5k Tough Mudder challenge.
